I feel truly blessed to be able to have a profession that allows me to work with such wonderful people on a daily basis. My patients, my coworkers, and our dental community are the best! I get to meet remarkable people every day while still maintaining relationships with people I have known for years. Many of our patients become like family to us and we enjoy seeing them over and over again!

I hope to always make people feel valued and cared for. I want the best for everyone around me and hope that anything I do reflects that.

Education and Experience

Upon graduating as valedictorian from Metter High School, I attended the University of Georgia, where I was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in chemistry in 1991. I attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1995. While in dental school, I received the Business Administration Award and the Senior Oral Medicine Patient Presentation Award.

After completing dental school, the Air Force moved my family to Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, where I practiced for a year in a civilian dentistry. I returned to Georgia the following year and practiced in Valdosta from 1996 to 1998 with the late Dr. William “Bill” Broadfoot. Over the next 15 years, I continued moving with my family as the Air Force directed, including assignments in San Diego, Washington, DC, and Anchorage, Alaska.

Continuing Education

Participating in dental continuing education courses helps educate me in the more recent techniques and trends, as well as expand my practice and consider new treatment options.

I have continued to improve my dental knowledge through continuing education courses from the Hinman Dental Society, Georgia Dental Association Annual Meeting, and Augusta University School of Dentistry continuing education courses.

I have also volunteered locally with the Hearts and Hands Clinic here in Statesboro.

Family Life

I have three children — Savannah, Nick, and Maddie — as well as our dogs Zora and Grizz. When I’m not in the office, I love spending time with family and friends on the lake, traveling, playing board games, going to my kids’ sporting events, and cheering on the UGA Bulldogs!
